Our 6-day stay at Chata Starych Znajomych was truly delightful. The cozy "Zakątek Kachny" hut we stayed in was clean, well-furnished, and thoughtfully designed. We appreciated the kitchenette that allowed us to prepare our meals, although the on-site restaurant also impressed us with its delicious traditional Polish and regional dishes. The location, conveniently situated along route 84 from Sanok to the Ukrainian border, made it a perfect base for exploring the picturesque Bieszczady region.Children will have a blast at the playground with a bouncy castle and trampoline, and families can enjoy the barbecue facilities and free bicycles available on the property. The wooden chalet we stayed in had a charming bedroom for four, a kitchenette, and a private entrance. The staff was friendly and accommodating, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place. The free WiFi throughout the property and the proximity to local attractions like the Zdzislaw Beksinski Gallery made our stay even more enjoyable. Even though the property is located a bit outside the center of Sanok, the serene surroundings and comfortable amenities more than made up for it. Chata Starych Znajomych truly exceeded our expectations, offering a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and authentic Polish hospitality. A stay here is highly recommended for families seeking a peaceful retreat amidst nature's beauty.
